Its October and it is undoubtedly fall in Western PA.
Our harvest season here at Eden Hall is winding down. Between the butternut harvest and the October work and pick we have an impressive bounty.
Thank you to the spirituality group for helping to harvest tomatoes, peppers, and cabbages for donation to Lighthouse food pantry. They also harvested pumpkins and long neck squash.
This group meets once a week at Eden Hall to work in the gardens and Elsalma. If he is able to attend, Pastor Dan will begin each week with a spiritual lesson connecting stewardship of land to the work. The group donates some of the harvest to the Lighthouse Foundation.
The last of the tomatoes have been harvested from the high tunnel.
