…to harvesting in August…

…volunteers and interns took home over 100 pounds of vegetables twice a week. Yes, a lot of food and lots of fun.


One of the most rewarding parts of my internship was our first harvest; and the smiles, and when work and pick volunteers bag their produce. I looked forward to Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.  I personally enjoyed the questions about unfamiliar vegetables and making menus as we worked.
